Ms. Chausow has lived in West Michigan her whole life. She received her bachelors and masters degrees from Michigan State University. Her teaching career started at Thornapple Kellogg Schools in 1990. She enjoys learning, helping others, and everything about the Thornapple Kellogg School Community. 

 

Kim is a proud mother of three children, a daughter and twin sons. Her daughter Stephanie graduated in 2020 with a Masters in Engineering from U of M. Stephanie is working at a structural engineering job in Seattle. Mom is proud of her, but she does miss her. Casey is a professional golf fitter for various golf companies. Riley owns and runs his property and lawn management company. Both of her sons live locally. 

 

Outside of work, Ms. Chausow loves being outside. The family has two Golden Retrievers that love to walk with Kim. Landscaping is a highlight of any day for Kim. She also enjoys long power walks, bike riding, paddle boarding, skiing, and anything that involves sunshine.

 

Thornapple Kellogg is her home away from home. She appreciates all the people that support this community and students.
