Any area veteran is welcome to attend and be recognized. During the program, each veteran's name and their branch of service will be read. Veterans are also invited to wear their uniforms if they choose. Veterans should contact Mindy Wert at the high school at 269-795-5441 or [email protected]. Veterans are also welcome to submit a photo (digitally is preferred) to Wert's email by Nov. 8.
The program will take place in the large high school gymnasium. Guests are asked to park in the south parking lot off Bender Road. Veterans are asked to arrive between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. to be seated.
During the program, members of the high school choir and band will perform and students will address all guests with readings about veterans and Veterans Day. The Middleville Veteran of the Year will also be introduced.
All TKHS students will be dismissed from classes to attend this program. After the program, TKHS will serve a luncheon for veterans.
