The following is a list of special summer events planned:
June 11 – 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Drop in for a service project morning where guests will work on projects to assist others in the community. Drop in between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
June 13 – 1 p.m. - Audacious Hoops – watch a fun Hula Hoop show and then everyone gets to practice.
June 20 – 10:30 a.m. - Reader’s Theater.
June 27 – 2 p.m. - Story artist Jenifer Strauss.
July 2 and 3 – Stop by any time for 4th of July crafts.
July 10 – 6 p.m. - Family night with Pierce Cedar Creek Institute.
July 12 – 10:30 a.m. - Reading forts with family and friends. Come with blankets and pillows to build your own fort in the library.
July 17 – 10:30 a.m. - Hands and Feet Family music – a special bilingual song and music time
July 24 – 6 to 7 p.m. - Ice cream social
Aug. 1 – 2 p.m. - Thornapple Township Fire Department water fun in the south parking lot. Be prepared to get wet!
Week of July 30 – Prize week
The library summer hours start June 4. The library will be open Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
