The strategic planning process not only offers an opportunity for us to celebrate and honor the many strengths and assets of our school district and community, but it also offers students, staff, and community members an opportunity to provide feedback on the direction of the district.
Our current strategic plan, developed in 2018 to guide the district through June of 2023, is quickly approaching the end of its term. With this in mind, it’s time for the district and community to review our current plan and prepare for the next five-year cycle.
To accomplish the review and updating of our strategic plan, we will be working with representatives from MASB (Michigan Association of School Boards) to walk through a planning process. This process will involve several in-person input sessions, an electronic survey, and a virtual session to gather feedback. The representatives from MASB will review the feedback for common themes and trends that will drive the creation of a new strategic plan.
