Election integrity is of paramount importance to the District. We wish to avoid any appearance of bias, favoritism, or impropriety with respect to the candidates, therefore the district does not endorse any candidates.
Organizations or individuals may endorse candidates but may not use the district “TK” and “Trojan” logos. The District created the trademarks and has continuously used them in relation to its educational services for several years. Accordingly, the District owns common law rights in the trademark, including the exclusive right to control reproductions and minimally modified versions.
Information about the candidates can be found in the Oct. 15 edition of The Sun and News and the Oct. 13 edition of The Hastings Banner. A brief description of the seats open on the board, the length of terms, and the candidates who have filed for each seat, is also available on our TK website at tkschools.org.
We encourage everyone to seek out information about all candidates before casting your vote this November. We appreciate our TK Community and the partnership we have developed. Together we are TK Strong.
