Peers make the nominations when they see someone exhibiting the characteristics of being TK Strong - Safe, Trustworthy, Respect/Responsibility, Ownership, Nice, and Giving.
Each honoree received a certificate and will be treated to a pizza lunch with members of the high school MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) committee. Students will be encouraged at the lunch to provide input on positive happenings in the high school as well as ideas or suggestions for improvements.
Nominations for this month’s honorees described how students help others feel comfortable in class, take time to make sure all students are included in class discussions, being leaders and just being kind to everyone. Nomination forms are on the TKHS website under the “Students” tab.
