TKHS Principal Tony Petersen welcomed the limited live audience and addressed the students. “It has been a great four years - the past year and a half has been challenging, but you have risen above those challenges and continued being TK Strong! I am confident that each of our graduates will go on to do great things,” said Petersen.
Superintendent Dan Remenap also praised the students for their resilience, grit and determination. “I think it’s important to recognize not only the accomplishments of these students, but also the circumstances under which they’ve been able to be successful,” said Remenap. “Through all the obstacles and challenges and unknowns and frequent changes, you were successful.”
He continued speaking to the class saying, “This type of resilience and grit you’ve exemplified to all will serve you moving forward. We’re very proud of you.”
