Each month, students in one second grade class and one third grade class will each receive a book that is theirs to keep and enjoy. Already, the book angel has provided Mrs. Woods class with "Charlotte's Web" and Mr. Barnes' class with "Mysteries According to Humphrey."
Each class will get a different book but have enough copies so every student has their own book. This makes it perfect for reading together in class or small groups. Students can also take the books home and read at bedtime or with their families.
This very generous donor (who wishes to remain anonymous) decided their mission this year was to make sure every student at the elementary school had a book they could call their own.
It's an amazing gift that is inspiring and encouraging young readers.
